PAVILION VERSUS CALLEVA: 20/20 CRICKET CHALLENGE 2.30 PM
As part of a programme to raise the profile of the pavilion and village sports in Silchester it has been decided to hold a friendly cricket match between the Pavilion, represented by the Silchester Cricket Club and Silchester Football Club and the Calleva Arms on Sunday 5th September. The game will start at 2.30 PM and we would like to encourage as many people as possible to come and support the teams. Refreshments will be provided throughout the afternoon – barbeque, traditional cricket tea etc. It would be an ideal opportunity to have a village picnic on the field before the summer ends.
Pavilion player recruitment is being managed by Paul and Paul whilst the Calleva team is being coordinated by Simon Bumpstead and Ralph Davies. Please contact them if you wish to take part.
